It happens! We all do it! The Christmas season hits with all the yummy food and festive entertaining. We eat too much, drink too much and sit too much.  End result…our clothes feel tight, our weight goes up and our body image goes down. What now…

Step 1:  Put down any verbal or mental “stick” you’ve been using to beat yourself with. Let go of any “seasonal regrets” and move forward with a positive attitude and believing in yourself.

Step 2:  Resist the temptation to “crash diet”. This will only dig a deeper hole and cause more weight gain in the long run. Learn more about this by signing up for my free webinar at www.firstgethealthy.com.

Step 3:  Evaluate what lifestyle changes you are prepared to make that you can live with for the long term. Write a plan that includes 2 or 3 changes at a time. For hints on where to start, check out the above webinar.

    Step 4:  Find a support/accountability system.

Step 5:  Consider using healthy products that will support you in your journey. Specifically make sure that you are getting all the nutrition your body needs by adding a science grade nutritional supplement to your diet. Supplementing your diet has been shown to both reduce cravings and improve your overall health. Also add low-glycemic meal replacements to help bring your blood sugar back into balance and curb the cravings. Studies show that using meal replacements not only helps with weight loss but also makes you more likely to keep off any weight you lose. Remember be kind to yourself. Love your body, and treat it with care and respect. Commit to building up your health.
